In a state of extreme focus, Ying Chenlin managed a reverse evasive maneuver to dodge Hu Luobu’s Tracking Cannon shot, the two barrels of relentless gunfire almost striking him. The distant morning sun cast flickering orange light on the water surface. As he broke through the surface, his entire mecha flipped in the air. In the rapidly changing view, he caught sight of YDS’ mechas, where two of them were almost stationary in mid-air.

Therefore, Ying Chenlin had an idea during the design phase. He had once created a regenerative crystal-powered Long Blade for Lin Yao, which used its rapid regeneration capability to overcome the shortcoming of a Long Blade’s charging, fulfilling the need for replenishment in weapons of that type.

Anomalous crystal abilities of the regenerative-type could be used for close combat weapons, and Ying Chenlin also wanted to attempt to create long-range weapons. Thus, the ‘High-Speed Regeneration’ Energy Cannon was born.
